REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
Molly Ruby-Coco
Version 1.0
1. Our Commitment
We want every client to enrol in coaching with confidence and clarity.
Before purchasing a programme, you are encouraged to ask any questions you may have to ensure coaching is the right fit for you.
This Policy explains your rights regarding cancellations, refunds and rescheduling.
It should be read alongside the Client Coaching Agreement.
2. Scope
This Policy applies to:
-
one-to-one coaching;
-
coaching packages;
-
workshops;
-
masterclasses;
-
retreats (if offered);
-
digital resources (where applicable).
Additional terms may apply to specific programmes and will be communicated before purchase.
3. Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed once:
-
payment has been successfully received; and
-
you receive written confirmation of your place.
4. Cooling-Off Rights
If you purchase coaching online as a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights depending on the laws that apply to your purchase.
Where applicable, you will be informed of those rights before completing your purchase.
If you ask coaching to begin during any applicable statutory cancellation period, you may be asked to give express consent for services to start immediately. Where permitted by law, this may reduce or remove your right to cancel once services have begun.
Nothing in this Policy removes or limits any mandatory legal rights that cannot legally be excluded.
5. Refunds Before Your Programme Starts
You may cancel your coaching programme before the agreed start date.
Where cancellation occurs before coaching has begun, a refund will normally be provided, subject to:
-
any non-refundable third-party transaction fees that cannot be recovered by the business (where permitted by law and clearly disclosed);
-
any statutory rights that apply to you.
If coaching materials or digital resources have already been supplied, any refund will reflect the value of services or content already provided where this is permitted by applicable law.
6. Refunds After Coaching Has Started
Once coaching services have begun, refunds are generally not available simply because:
-
you change your mind;
-
your circumstances change;
-
you decide not to complete the programme;
-
you choose not to attend scheduled sessions.
However, we will always consider exceptional circumstances fairly and compassionately.
Nothing in this Policy affects any legal rights you may have if services are not provided with reasonable care and skill or if other mandatory consumer protections apply.
7. Coach Cancellation
If Molly Ruby-Coco needs to cancel a programme before it begins, you will be offered the choice of:
-
a full refund; or
-
transferring your booking to a future programme.
If a programme has already started, appropriate arrangements will be made, which may include replacement sessions, programme extensions or a partial refund where appropriate.
8. Rescheduling Sessions
You may reschedule an individual coaching session by giving at least 24 hours' notice.
Where sufficient notice is given:
-
the session will be rearranged at no additional charge, subject to availability.
Requests received with less than 24 hours' notice may be treated as a missed session.
Genuine emergencies will always be considered on a case-by-case basis.
9. Missed Sessions
If you do not attend a scheduled coaching session without the required notice:
-
the session will usually be considered forfeited;
-
no refund will be provided for that session;
-
the Coach is not obliged to offer a replacement appointment.
The Coach may, at her discretion, offer an alternative session where circumstances reasonably justify doing so.
10. Late Arrival
If you arrive late:
-
your session will normally finish at the scheduled time;
-
additional time cannot be guaranteed.
If the Coach is responsible for a delay, reasonable efforts will be made to provide the full coaching time or arrange an alternative.
11. Programme Pauses
Requests to pause a coaching programme due to serious illness, bereavement or other significant unforeseen circumstances will be considered compassionately.
Approval of a pause remains at the Coach's discretion, taking into account the circumstances and the practical operation of the programme.
Any agreed pause will be confirmed in writing.
12. Digital Products
Where digital products are purchased separately from coaching:
-
refunds will generally not be available after the product has been accessed or downloaded, except where required by applicable law.
-
if access has not yet been provided, cancellation rights may apply depending on the circumstances and the law governing the purchase.
13. Chargebacks
If you experience any issue with your purchase, we ask that you contact us first so we can work towards a fair resolution.
Initiating a payment dispute or chargeback without first attempting to resolve the matter directly may delay the resolution process and require us to provide relevant information to the payment provider in order to respond.
14. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be made in writing by emailing:
contact@mollyrubycoco.com
Please include:
-
your full name;
-
the programme purchased;
-
the purchase date;
-
the reason for your request.
We aim to respond within 10 business days.
15. Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Policy excludes, restricts or limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under the laws of England and Wales or any other applicable jurisdiction.
Where local consumer protection laws provide additional rights that cannot legally be excluded, those rights will continue to apply.
16. Changes to this Policy
This Policy may be updated from time to time.
The latest version will always be published on our Website.
